Maradona for me too.....his 2nd for me in 86 is the greatest goal ever,IMO.....fenwick and reid were only on the pitch to chop him down....didn't get near him....he wrecked the trophy room at barca,because they refused to let him go but eventually did....as for Napoli,he picked the team every week and also told them who to buy,making his time at Napoli,their most successful era in its history.......I've read his autobiography,it really is an unbelievable story.

Of all time it is Pele. No real doubt here, most famous, best and has lots of legendary moments.

Of current times it is Beckham followed by Ronaldo. Ronaldo is just as good as Messi, but more famous. A lot of women in England today don't know who Messi is let alone around the world.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento is the most iconic/greatest player, and he was part of the most iconic/greatest team ever - Brazil 1970.

Real Madrid of di Stefano and Puskas would have peed on 'em. Can't decide who is my most iconic football - Di Stefano or Puskas.
