Lots of mentions (and rightly so) for Vinnie against Leicester in 2019 but Sergio's winner at Burnley in the game that immediately preceded it was pretty important too. Terrible game, below par performance from a tired looking City and a very scrappy winner that just crossed the line and had to be confirmed by goal-line technology. Nowhere near as memorable as the iconic long range strike in the next game but just as crucial in the scheme of things.

Samir Nasri came up with two massively important goals that set or kept us on the way for two titles...

The late one v Chelsea in 2012 following a backheel from the returning golfer Tevez
and the lesser acclaimed peeroller (which their keeper made a hash of) vs Sunderland in 2014 that earned us a scabby 2:2 draw at home (we won every game after that when we were on the rails after losing to the buswreckers the weekend before)

Can't find a clip on YouTube, and it's not a goal either, but David James saving Paul Dickov's penalty at Leicester in 2004. Just as decisive as any goal we scored in that relegation battle to stay up. A Leicester win in that game would have allowed them and Leeds to catch us up, but the point meant that Leeds couldn't catch us anymore and that any win for us would see us stay up. Was a huge, huge save.

Would agree with this one. Sent us to Wembley and put us into our 1st FA Cup semi final in 30yrs and led to the swamp banner coming down.The rest would be history if we had any..
