Am i right in think there was an age between it being awarded and it being taking as well, good couple of minutes. think he saved one v Wolves at home as well the same season? Can't find a clip on YouTube, and it's not a goal either, but David James saving Paul Dickov's penalty at Leicester in 2004. Just as decisive as any goal we scored in that relegation battle to stay up. A Leicester win in that game would have allowed them and Leeds to catch us up, but the point meant that Leeds couldn't catch us anymore and that any win for us would see us stay up. Was a huge, huge save.

Fuck me, I hated that game. Proper flashback to that horror.Lots of mentions (and rightly so) for Vinnie against Leicester in 2019 but Sergio's winner at Burnley in the game that immediately preceded it was pretty important too. Terrible game, below par performance from a tired looking City and a very scrappy winner that just crossed the line and had to be confirmed by goal-line technology. Nowhere near as memorable as the iconic long range strike in the next game but just as crucial in the scheme of things.
Always think of this one as a forgotten important goal, just wasn't happening for us that day up until this, set up the Semi with United
