that 1st picture says the photographer left the scene after taking the photo and then commited suicide because of depression....why didnt he just help the child?!

If that story is true, then that cnut of a photographer deserved to fucking die.

Tragic.

I flew out there the day after this.

Still remember being in departures at Heathrow watching the news coming in on the screens there.

Last I saw was 87 people confirmed dead. Then 11 hours later I landed in bangkok as the real story was unfolding. Tragic indeed. And the Thai authorities made it worse, to start with they were insisting any foreigners that wanted to help had to have a work permit. Idiots.

I flew back from Phuket to the mainland 2 days before they relaxed the rule. I was frustrated and angry at not being able to help.
