Most underrated City player?

Most underrated for me - Nedum.

Don't believe Barry is underrated - lots of positive fan contribution has been made on here and, I suspect for the majority of fans, it is pretty much on the money. He's also almost a first team fixture regardless of who is available so doesn't seem like the management "underrates him" either

Yaya underrated - come on guys - hardly. He's an automatic selection in what is now a 'who's who' team. He's a top earner, has his Barca background and honours to point out to anybody who cares......where is the sense that he is not getting the recognition he deserves from the bench or the stands.

On the other hand we have Ned. Of course, with our current options he is a squad player...and not even a second option for any position in the current team. BUT (1) he is one of our own, (2) whenever he has played for us I've never seen him shirk, hide or give less than 100% and (3) during his loan spell at Sunderland last year or during a close season when he has been pretty much ostracised, I've never heard a single derogatory word about our club associated to him.

Of all of Bobby's discard list, for my own part, he is the one I'm happiest we've been 'left stuck with'. I certainly think he would improve any Premiership squad outside the top six (and maybe a few in it) and I would really hope he gets a run in the Carling Cup at least so that he can get his career back on track.
 
Balotelli is a world class player (age adjusting). Most of us expect him to become one of the top 10 . It's just that understandably, his professionalism has let him down and we see him in a negative perspective for this. He should and will show he's a one of a kind.

Yaya Toure is the most underrated by footy fans for me. Mancini said "Modern football artists are Messi, Ronaldo, David Silva, Yaya Toure." He sees him as one of the world super talents. People just don't see him that way and think he's only world class at doing 60 yard runs. You can't name a player better at what he does.

Lescott is definitely the most overrated. He's too much of a liability at times.
 
imo yaya has been crap the last 2 epl games i was at the swansea game seemed to mess it up everytime he had a touch

But the last 2 EPL games we're against Spurs & Bolton, not Swansea, stop chatting shit.
 
Zabaleta only us city fans see how good he is all i hear from rags is hes shit he was amazing last season and will be again this season
 
Lescott, really cannot see why people think he is a weak link, he has formed a fantastic partnership with Kompany and has been a massive part of our success. Have him over Kolo any day of the week.
 
Zabs without a shadow of a doubt for me. Not City fans or Bluemoon but other teams' fans. People have said to me he only plays 5 games a season which I reply 'Why do you talk about things you dont know, and would a guy who plays that less have captained Argentina recently'

In the favourite player poll on here he come 3rd didn't he. We know we have a gem of a player and person. Zabs I love thee.

Yep, Not really worried though. Savic :-). His passing is fantastic apparently. I just wish I could get hold of the wales vs montenegro game :-(.

Got to agree with this. His reading of the game is very underrated.

I think Zabaleta's quality.

He's one of those players that seems to be "in the wars" time I see him play though, he bleeds about 5 times game. Always with a headband on, bloodied nose and on crutches by the end, seems a real trooper.

Personally I'd rather have him playing on the left rather than Clichy and Kolarov, you can't have enough winners in the same team
