Could Mancini be a target for Madrid?

I don't think so.

Why would he not be?
Maybe a swap deal is on the cards?

Madrid; You take this circus off our hands, we'll take your club-transforming manager off yours.
City; Will he guaran-damn-tee us getting past the group stage of the Champions League?
Madrid; He might.
City; Will he play Balo? The Sheikh loves him.
Madrid; Probably not.
City; Did you play well under him?
Madrid; Not particularly.
City; Is he really that bad?
Madrid; Yeah.
City; No deal.

Maybe not.

Haha

Yeah, we all agree on balotelli, dzeko, tevez, Garcia, Sinclair, Mancini, platt etc etc.

All one big happy family with the same opinions like we've always been.

Yes but we all share a commonality and it's something that many people forget when they are having a go at each other and that is we all support City
Of course we do. You will never hear me getting on the back of anyone during a game. I've sung the Mancini song myself. But some of us see the match as the place to "support", and the pub or the phone or a forum is a place to analyse. Most of my mates have given their lives to following city, and most have played the game their whole lives. We all have our opinions, positive and negative, about everything at the club. Every player, every decision, every team selection and every staff member. It's no big deal, that's what football has always been to us, a game of opinions. If one of my mates said 'call yourself a fan' to another who said 'Garcia isn't good enough' or 'what a stupid team to out out' then he'd get laughed out of the pub.
What about the opinion that other than the Sheikh, Mancini is the best thing to happen to the club since before many supporters were even born?

If it's a game of opinions, surely that is a valid one? If someone turned around and said "Call yourself a fan" then they'd rightly get laughed at, but the opinion that "Mancini is still building something special here and has signed a 5 year contract" is just as valid as "Mancini isn't good enough because he failed in Europe".

Mancini is good enough is just as valid an opinion as Mancini isn't good enough, as is 'not sure'. Not sure what your point is.

Klopp and Low will be their first wishes, I'm sure.

They'll have to keep wishing mate. I don't see Klopp going to Madrid full stop. Low is a possibility but not until after the World Cup in 2014 ... if I were a betting man I'd say Benitez will pitch up there in the summer if he isn't kept on by Chelsea. If it isn't him it'll be someone from within the Spanish league and will most certainly be someone who is Spanish. Whoever thought Madrid would want Mancini needs their head testing.

Benitez might not be bad option for them, I rate Benitez, he's very good manager.

I think he'll be the perfect "safe" pair of hands after the Mourinho show. Odd club. People criticise Chelsea for the way Roman runs it, but frankly, Madrid is the most ridiculously run big club in the world.
