Moyes on Vieira..

bless the evertonians bleating that 'the money's changed you'. how outrageously arrogant we were this summer, for thinking we would do better than everton this season, for thinking lescott might actually want to join us, and that moyes might just be holding out for a good price.

the obvious truth is that our young players are injured. johnson is out for the second season in a row. there really isn't anyone else ready to come through. that's why we've had to bring in another midfielder.

personally I think hughes was to blame for letting us down a bit by not making any attempt to bring on the young 'uns over the last season and a half. it has nothing to do with the take over. mancini handed first starts to two young 'uns in the FA Cup. despite the major reason for that being the current injury crisis (11 players at last count), hughes just wouldn't have done that, he would picked unfit, out of position senior players every time. the first thing the guy did with the money was buy a 29 year old goalkeeper and send out joe hart. worked out well, but most city fans would have been very happy to persist with hart.

most city fans would have been very happy to persist with Hart?
don't think so pal

Im an everton fan, speaking in peace. don't tarnish us all with the same brush. I for one would love to have what man city have. we need all the help we can get at the moment. wish you luck for rest of the season but obviously not for next weekend !!

Commenting on City again... This is the guy who has just given a 3 month contract to an average American player. Hypocrite.

"I'm sure there will be a lot of young players at City who will be disappointed at not getting the chance they might have otherwise done.

"It might turn out to be a good move for City, but if you're asking me if it is good for English football, then I'm not so sure.

"I think a lot of people would like to see young British players given that sort of chance"

An honest answer to an honest question ... nothing bitter or ranting about that . Viera by his own admission before Citteh waved a big cheque under his nose ... was happy to finish his career in the USA ... Clearly a poor signing and if any other Premier League team had done the same you would agree with this . Why give a contract like that to a has-been yet let Sturridge go to Chelsea ? ....

Having said that , you've got Vera .. all you need now is to get Eder (Ada) and Flo and you'll win the tea ladies league :)

We didn't 'let' Sturridge go to Chelsea, if a player refuses to sign a new contract there's not exactly much you can do.

gollum needs to fookoff back to his cave so he can carry on strokin his precious (crack pipe). :)

1qwerty let me ask you this would you rather have a world cup winner, european championship winner, premier league winner, fa cup winner, italian league winner, italian cup winner like we have

OR

A MLS player who has failed three times to make it in europe?

What a jealous twat!! I'm sure Australian cahill and South African Pienaar agree strongly with his remarks.

Someone give Moyes a tampon....

Hmmm.
Let's see who got the best deal when it comes to signing "has beens."
A 32 year old FA cup winner in Sylvain Distin to Everton for £5.3 million......... or a 33 year old World-cup winner,CL winner,PL winner,FA cup winner in Viera on a free?

You boys just don't do your research before you post shite,do you?
