Eds said:I seem to remember calling the MUEN over their report that the rags had poached our date for an open top bus tour the other year. When I pointed out that I knew for a fact it was incorrcet as City wouldn;t even be in Manchester on that day I was told categorically that my facts were incorrect and the MUEN story was correct. Oh how I laughed when a few days later there was a small article saying how City had stayed over. Funny how they didn't print an apology. It isn't the paper it used to be mainly due to the fact that news is consumed differently these days hence sales are down, free copies given away etc.
Again, I am baffled by this.
Here is our article from April 23,weeks before the 2011 cup final, in which it states the City parade would be held after the end of the Premier League season ie May 22 - when it actually did take place.

Here is our May 14 article on United's plans for a parade on May 30, the week after City's.

So when you say you "seem" to remember, maybe it was more seeming than actually remembering?
