Munich meet up: 27th September 11am Augustiner Keller

Forecast for the day of the game.........Scorchio!! 24 degrees!! Augustinerkeller is well shaded but if you fancy soaking up the sun, the Oktoberfest has plenty of outside seating and so do the beer gardens in the English Garden in Schwabing (Chinese Tower and the Seehaus - beer garden by a lake) are better options in my opinion.

We're arriving on the Monday (25 degrees and not a cloud in the sky) so may well try the English Garden for a couple, feel it would be rude not to.

Seehaus is a fantastic spot could be worth a trip after a couple of hours in the Keller.

I fancy a couple in a tent as well.

Oktoberfest 1.30 - 4pm
Chinese Tower 4.30 -5.30pm
Seehaus 6 - 7.30pm

Would be a decent beer tour and you get to sample a bit of everything, have a breather in between the beers etc. As mentioned no way you can stay in one place and drink all day. Lash and move - it`s the City groove.

Sounds like a good itinerary to me(I prefered Seehause to the Chinese tower)

It`s a belting itinerary. We should pick a tent at the fest where we will go to - for people to aim for if they fancy meeting up also etc depending when they get to Munich.

Löwenbrau is good as it`s the right side of the Oktoberfest to get the U3 or U6 to the English Garden.

The Hacker Pschorr Tent is a good one. I can see people getting stuck at the fest though and missing the beer gardens.
