Must see documentaries..

I haven't watched the docu, but did they mention the possible connection to that horrible git who killed a young woman and buried her in his garden? Tobin I think he was called.
There was a book once that surmised it might have been him.
It did and was investigated years later but was dismissed. Cant remember the teason though. Exhumed another fella to extract DNA and compare but was also dismissed

Thanks for the reply Marcus. It's a long time since I read that book so thanks for the update.
Did the docu give any indication as to what might have "happened" to Bible John?
I used to live in Bury and back in the early 90s there was the murder of Shirley Leach. She was a tiny little pensioner and she was killed whilst using the Interchange/bus station toilet whilst waiting for her next bus. Was years before DNA caught up with the killer....he'd given nobody any cause for alarm and was still living a "normal" life in the town.
So I guess what I'm asking is do they think Bible John just sunk back into the shadows without killing anyone else?

I too lived in Bury at the time of that attack. It truly was horrendous. Just an awful atmosphere around the town at the time. If I recall he was charged for the rape of a little girl and that's when the DNA matched up.

There's a documentary on iPlayer about BrewDog. It's exactly what you'd expect in an exposé but it's interesting nonetheless:

Yeah, awful atmosphere at the time. I worked in the big DHSS building across the road at that time and we had Police going through the bins the next morning, looking for the weapon I presume. My colleague (several years later, when he was finally arrested) knew his then wife. She could hardly believe it but, as you say, he'd got away with some bloody awful things before then. He was a manipulator and psychopath who managed (to some extent) to appear "normal."

Watched one on Broadmoor when One of the krays was in there with the ripper and bronson that was a eye opener, Kray had his own butler with white gloves on.
