There are three in my mind that at the moment stand out a mile
Hazel Blears deliberately flipped her home from her constituency residence to her second home to avoid paying capital gains tax. Don't forget this £13k she paid back was only the tax on the profit she made, so she's already pocketed thousands from the sale.
The bloke who supposedly had his moat cleaned has denied this. However he claimed £14k for a housekeeper whilst he was away in London.
Now if you or I is away from home on business are we allowed to claim for our house to be maintained whilst we're away?
This former cabinet minister who claimed £16k on mortgage repayments when he didn't have a mortgage.
And they said the Tories were the party of sleaze and in it for themselves. Two of these are Labour politicians
