My opinion about Kolarov

Quality player and maybe a very valuable asset i games such as West Brom where we lacked a little width and were unable to break the opposition down

Agreed, could have made a difference yesterday. I like him.

Make of that what you will. :P
City's worst player beating United's best player. Madness.

Shows the opinion others have of him doesn't it.

Re: The truth about Kolorov

Here's the history, this is Kolarov's first win.

2003: Nikola Žigić (Red Star Belgrade)
2005: Nemanja Vidić (Spartak Moscow)
2006: Nikola Žigić (2) (Red Star Belgrade)
2007: Nikola Žigić (3) (Racing de Santander)
2008: Nemanja Vidić (2) (Manchester United)
2009: Miloš Krasić (CSKA Moscow)
2010: Dejan Stanković (Internazionale)
2011: Aleksandar Kolarov (Manchester City)

Surprised Vidic has only won it twice to be honest but has had good competition.

I doubt retiring helped.

Re: The truth about Kolarov

He needs some match fitness.

Hardly put a foot wrong today though.

Re: The truth about Kolarov

As a full back the lad is woeful. No positional sense and no pace whatsoever.

Yes he needs fitness but i don't rate him and i think Bob feels the exact same way.

Re: The truth about Kolarov

I've give him a lot of stick, so thought I'd watch him a bit more closely today.

We all know he's shite at defending, but people keep telling me he can attack. He can't!

He does one good cross in about 20, time and time again, can't beat the first man. He's too slow. He's just not good enough.

Err...were you watching?
Was slow, gave the ball away all the time, positional play was pants, got mugged by Sessignon at least 3 times and ended up getting subbed.

Brilliant performance apart from that.
