My opinion about Kolarov

Shove him out as a wide left-sided midfielder while we're struggling with injuries and suspensions.

We need to freshen things up for the Wigan game, and we don't have many other alternatives.

He looked absolutely headless out there in his brief appearance last night. If we really are struggling to fill a slot there Suarez would be a better bet.

Not convinced he is 100% ready although he is a very talented lad and definitely a better bet there than Kolarov and he would give the fans a great lift.

Come on mate! Even you know there's not a chance Mancini will bring Suarez into the picture for Wigan.

I only suggested Kolarov for this role due to the fact we are down to the bare bones and need a change of approach. NOT that I am a fan of Aleks!

Even me!! NOt sure what to make of that but I do hope Mancini is openminded enough to consider bringing in a very talented young player rather than going for a guy who has proved quite a few times that he is not a wide left midfield player.

Surely we don't play somebody just on the chance he might score from a free kick.

I'm only saying what I think should happen within the constraints of what Mancini is willing to do.

I'd like to see Tevez playing against Wigan... but I doubt Mancini will go for that either!

Suarez won't be playing. I'm not sure why, in a thread about Kolarov, he is even being discussed.

ooooh get you. I apologise unreservedly for daring to mention Suarez in a Kolarov thread:)

Good job I didnt mention Tevez.

His performance last night was shambolic and just summed him up.

Indeed, his cameo last night was truly astonishing. Mancini is no idiot so I find it astounding that he still gives him any game time whatsoever. I honestly think Bridge is a superior left back.

I think ive seen enough and given him enough time. If Juventus are sniffing about then let him go

Inter allegedly are......

Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov is wanted by Inter Milan.

The Serbian left-back has been used sparingly in the Premier League by Roberto Mancini since his £16m move from Lazio in July 2010.

This season the free-kick specialist has started just five league games and is now being linked with a return to Italy by respected sports paper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The two clubs have been in dialogue over the possible sale of Carlos Tevez and, during negotiations over the Argentinian, Kolarov's availability has cropped up in conversation.

Inter are set to release current left-back Cristian Chivu in the summer, after five seasons of service, and City's 26-year-old full-back has been earmarked as his replacement

I'll drive him there myself. There's a topic somewhere asking who is Mancini's most expensive flop. For me it has to be Kolorov. Defensively shit, no pace and can't cross a ball.

Set piece specialist my arse
