My response to Scholes and co

Great Stuff

a typical example is our game at Southampton, when you have bills to pay xmas on the horizon, its hard to convince the other half why you should shell out when its on tv, even if you do decide to go - shit KO time

echoes my feelings perfectly, hope you don't mind ive shared it via fb and twatter, excellent read

Brilliantly put. Always more to it. The bankers analogy is one that makes a lot of sense..

Put this here because I directly respond to Schole and Ferdinand in the write-up plus the criticism we've receieved for a supposed lack of atmosphere.

That article should be published somewhere mainstream Toma, you should try sending it to some of the decent journos, Brennan, Samuels etc.

Cracking read LT.
My immediate thought about the low Villa attendance was maybe the fans were enjoying prawn sandwiches somewhere!
I recall someone remarking the other day that someone seems to have added to the phrase "you can't polish a turd" by appending "no! but you can cover it in glitter". This seems very apt considering the costs of following the big teams these days and what the consumer gets in return.
