Not really sure that Onuoha is tall enough to be a centre back. We really need a couple of 6ft4ins giants especially for corners and other set pieces...Samba and Hangeland would suffice. Onuoha can play at right back. We can keep Richards and Dunne in reserve or to be used in our numerous cup runs. Zabaleta, Kompany and De Jong remain our defensive midfielders to be used in rotation. Ireland and Elano should stay. We just need another creative midfielder...Kaka or Diego...at least one powerful striker and a pacy winger as Petrov/SWP are not world beaters...Valencia or Ashley Young would do nicely. That squad would get us a Top Six place and maybe a trophy.

If the business world has taught me anything it is that it pays to think big, be ambitious, be bold and be aggressive. These are the players we need to go for. People will hark back to the Kaka mess as a bit of an embarrassment for the club but if you were to level similar proposals to 5 different players/clubs I guarantee you that at least 1 would agree and we’d get our man, especially in this economic environment – it’s a numbers game, plain and simple.

yes we all the love the big names,like messi kaka and eto,however we have to be more realistic,these players will not come to City this summer,City are still work in progress and we need to build slowly ,we do not need a boom and bust culture,what we need now is players that will bring us balance,we need 2 big centre forwards of real quality,one of our big down falls this season is when the ball is played forward it comes back to easily putting our defence under pressure we have conceded far 2 many goals.2 centre forwards u ask yes coz if one gets injured we are back to square one.Santa Cruz and Diego Milito are as good as any at doing this job with their back to goal and have decent goalscoring records!Our fullbacks get exposed far to often especially the left back,so i would be looking at bringing in two naturally left sided midfielders,Gareth Barry and Stuart Downing would do the trick.
All top sides have great attacking fullbacks you only have to look at the likes of Cole,Evra,Clichy and Boswinga they play like wingers at home,Glenn Johnson would be a great buy.
We have conceded to many soft goals and from set pieces,we need a Centre half that heads for fun,u might slaughter me for this but Sami Hyypia on a free would be a 1 season wonder and take City to the next level.
So to summerize(sp),my summer business would be

there are clubs all over Europe who will be close to administration, i am sure ADUG will know exactly who will be attainable and believe me our signings will be far more exciting than those listed by you!
