My XI for next season..

U sum up alot of City fans who have no business sence at all,if we were to add these players we would be better than Villa and Everton that is the next step for us,Rome wasnt built over night, just b patient the bigger named players(not always the best players by the way)ie work ethic!!Will come,we are NOT at the level where they will come yet,ALL the best players are playing and want to play in the champions league!!!If you attract the top players now ask youself why they are coming???? £££££££££,WE DONT NEED THESE type of players, the players i have named are good proven premiership players, the rest will follow,ADUG have a 10 yr plan, not 10 months,us City fans are so impatient and that has something to do with our downfall sometimes.

The Robinho transfer renders everything you've just said ineffectual.

You are nothing in this world without ambition. There's no reason why we cannot sign some of the best players in the world this summer and get them playing for the badge as well as the money, Robinho is living breathing evidence of this.

u always get an exception to the rule, however i wouldnt say hes been so affective this season, especially away from home, take away his last 3 games and there wouldnt b many on here saying he was the real deal TBH.His season has been average and wouldnt be in our top 3 performers would he???So name names then if u think we can attract the top players who arnt coming for a quick buck??????
Oh by the way i dont disagree with you over ambition but the players i named would cost around £70million,that would make us the top spenders in the summer, thats ambitiuos spending i my eyes.
Do you not think the players ive named would do a decent job for us???

as i have said previously our ability to sign top players will depend on who is our manager, a player of Eto'o calibre may well not be interested in playing for Hughes however if a manager of Jose's ability is at the helm then i am sure players will forego one season of european football knowing that we will make top 4 next season.

the money we offer will then mean that 1 season is worth waiting for, our ambition at the moment is being limited by the man at the helm.

if Hughes remains in charge then your list of players (Hyppia aside....) would not be so bad but i expect ADUG to show more ambition than this - you only need to look at the failed signing of Kaka to realise this.

I don't have any issues with the players you've named, I actually think we should buy them too! hehe

I think there are some good players in there that would add the balance you've mentioned and would compliment many of our existing players.

On the Robinho transfer, I would have to say that I firmly believe it has been a success and I am very happy with the return on our investment. Over the season he has scored a nice bag of goals and has played very well. People will justifiably site his away performances whilst ignoring the equally poor performances of those around him. The fact that Robinho is now tracking back and actually working for the team is extraordinary, anyone who has followed his career prior to City will know that this is a new development, he didn’t do this for Real and he still doesn’t do it for Brazil either. I am very happy with how that transfer worked out and if nothing else his name on our squad sheet will make it considerably easier to sign similar calibre of players this summer.

Who would I like to bring in this summer? Who would I not like to bring in this summer would probably be a more fitting question. I would be reaching out to many, many big name players this summer knowing full well that we would get shot down by a good number of them.

Benzema
Aguero
Villa
Silva
Diego
Ribery

Benzema would be my #1 target, he would fit beautifully in our current set up.

so,u are in the Hughes out camp!this is where our differences lie!!
Hughes has made mistakes this season, but so has Sir Alexander!
Listen to every pro talking about Hughes, they dont have a bad word to say about him,he will get it right given the chance,he knows what he wants and knows what success looks like, hes been there!!
As for Mourinho would you want to watch that boring shit he drummed up at chelsea every week i wouldnt.Yes he won some trophies but alot of his signings were shite,he wasted MILLIONS
MUTU
DEL HORNO
FERRIERA
SWP
DUFF
PARKER
VERON
TBH
SHEVCHENKO
To name a few he inherited his best players Lampard And Terry

u said that Robinho is tracking back now,is that not testomy to Mark Hughes and his coaching staff????I think it is,he has said on record that he will make every player that plays for him a better player and much fitter,he had 4 yrs at bburn to get the players playing at the top of their games thru hard work and the right mentality,we have to be patient as i said.I hope u are right that we can snare one of these top names,it would be nice to see the ground FULL every week!!
