Regarding buying new CB, I am very happy to start with Kompany and Demichelles next season as the main CBs.

Barkley (as everyone has said)

Not for you, but Xavi would be a perfect signing for a lot of teams trying to make a step up. Around the time that you first got the money he would have been a brilliant signing, but of course you got an even better signing in Vieira (English speaking, Premiership experience and setting roots down).

These are our starting outfield players. Half don't have adequate backup. Those players have been forced to play virtually every game, which fatigues and injures them.

Our starting 11 would improve even if we don't spend 50m+ on a superstar because players could get adequate time off. One mid, one CB and one RB would help us out a lot.

Same Huws, which is why he would be "free". The premise of the question is who could possibly improve our squad and I chose to answer with ideas to improve our future squad with young British players. Huws is not currently being played but could be developed and slot in eventually. He has played very well on loan and has shown some potential.
