Tonight will be a blessing,Liverpool will suffer Sunday,league title is way way more important at the moment and more realistic,were not ready to win champions league,but definitely ready to win the premier league.

i agree but we have got a long way to go until may. but i'd put everything into the league and forget the cups until the later stages.

Anyone who says that we should just give up on the europa league is fucking out of their minds.
We need the coefficient points. We should at least field a good team. If we can make it into pot 2, then great, it gives us a better chance in the champions league.

Spot on mate. As well as that, do we not remember how gutted we all were when Hamburg knocked us out of the Europa League a few years ago? I know a lots changed since then but I think we need to win a few more trophies before we can start turning our noses up at the Europa League. I've only seen the goals as I was watching our game but I was surprised at the score.
I can't see Villareal giving Napoli a game tbh, they are a beaten force and just wish the competition was over. We beat them tonight without breaking sweat.
On a personal level I'm delighted that we've won what is a bloody tough group.

You also beat Napoli without breaking sweat - even if you let them back in at the end.

If we beat you, I think we have a reasonable chance of getting through

well after chilling out a bit, I think given the choice I'd be happy to lose this game if it means we win at Anfield. I'm sure that sounds strange to some but the League is far more important.

I feel the same I'd take a win on Sunday over tonight and I think bob thinks the same by his team selection

Awful performance, BM Got the team disastrously wrong yet again.
Kolarov's the worst full back i've ever seen and Dzeko is the definition of a Cart Horse when he plays in Europe and why does he leave it so late to change the team and bring the subs on FFS!!

For the investment in the squad it's been an awful Champions League campaign and now we have to face the Thursday Night Cup which could jeopardise the League campaign and leave us with nothing at the end of the season.

You can't have been watching us for too long if Kolarov's the worst full back you've ever seen, although I admit he was poor tonight.

I know yours is a knee-jerk reaction and we're not used to losing these days but really some need to get a grip.

We're not out of it yet and deserved a draw today. The team selction suggests where Mancini's priority lies and I totally agree with him as we're not ready to win the CL yet but we can win the Prem. In fact if we do go out in the group stages the rest of the league may as well give up.

I am disappointed but I think the premiership is the main target for this season and to learn as much as we can in Europe for future seasons.

Other teams may as well give up? how do you work that one out if we are in the Europa League??. Surely the other teams would see that as an advantage particularly as United/Chelsea will play their league games in all likelihood before our game.
