I sincerely doubt that the Barca deal will materialise. Completely surplus to requirements (isn't it?).

He's touted as a Xavi replacement. For a club where profligacy is sacrilege, that surely can't happen THIS TRANSFER WINDOW.

most respected journos are saying Cesc to Barca will finally come to a head this week(end), mate.

I like Gervinho and Mata, they are two good players, but it is still a downgrade to Fabregas and Nasri.

someone here wrote a rumour yesterday that Arsene is off to PSG after this season anyways, so maybe that's why he's finally signing off on these moves.
