Not the finished article but showed last season what he's capable of with that excellent run of form. Only just turned 24 so he's at the right age and should only improve really. Just hope he keeps his attitude in check

Ok let me give you some actual stats and explain to me how im wrong. Nasri had 1 assist in the league last season. it was the game Arsenal won against City 3-0 were he assisted the third goal for bendtner. You could argue the ball actually went over the line before he passed as you can see Richard put his hand up.

Now there's an argument if that assist should have stood. but when you add to the fact that he was the player that completed most passes in the final third in the league last season and he has 1 assist to show for and one thats even debatable. Thats a very damming stat. He has 13 assists in his 3 season at arsenal

Modric got three assist last season. Can`t see anyone asking questions about him...
Nasri is pure class, would choose him over Fabregas every day.

wow you guys are very defensive. i can imagine arsenal fans saying to you when you signed adebayor that you are signing a trouble maker and everyone abusing the poster and call him bitter.

it's not defensive, it's just our point of view. I go on Arsenalmania sometimes and get far more abuse and sheer arrogance than you will ever get on here

Ronnie will you go on their Nasri thread and explain to them how laughabale it is when they say they should do a swap deal and list players like Kompany, De Jong, YaYa, as realistic swaps.[/quote]

I just had a look and since yesterday it has pretty much ground to a halt. Half of them say they don't care he's going and the other half think he will stay! FFS!!!

Why do many Arsenal fans always crack on like we didn't know Adebayor could be trouble beforehand ?

It was always a risk, we knew only too well so please, stop coming out with this 'we told you so' crap and suchlike.

Modric is deep-lying playmaker. Im sorry both Nasri and Fabregas are leaving us and I have no reason to be bitter more towards one. But Fabregas is absolute world class and a level above nasri. im very worried how we gonna cope without Fabregas tbh

given our midfield system with dejong and yaya or dejong and barry. The three ahead of them have licence to go wherever they please so he wouldnt be used on the wing or in the middle, like david silva he would have free reign to go where he wanted.

Bitter bitter bitter gooner... I am loving the fact that Arsene said he wouldn't be sold at any price and he has now been told by your board to get rid for the dollar. Brilliant. The comment re the ex girlfriend summed it up "Well I never liked her anyway". HAHHAHAHAHAHAH PMSL.

Welcome to Manchester Samir

yes David Silva is better overall footballer than Nasri. But Nasri is better finisher and have better shots, but the way Silva can control a game is amazing and something alot of people dont put value to as they are too focused on his stats

As an Arsenal fan Im glad he's gone. I think alot of you will notice that he's very overrated and not that creative player some of you expect him to be. He's a ball carrier, but has poor vision and not decisive passing game. i know I will get called bitter and everything. But I watched your game against man u and your lack of creativity and Nasri will not solve that problem

I don't think you're bitter, just kidding yourself.
I think its actually people kidding themselves and thinking Nasri is something he's not and people will moan when he doesnt do the things that is expected of him. We been here with Millner, Adebayor and Barry where they were bigged up to be great players, and now I see people criticise them all the time.

Nasri is not a decisive passer, he's not someone who will open defences up

That's exactly the type of player we need - someone who can hold the ball and run with it, creating by default. We aren't really after a deep lying playmaker. More dynamism is what we need. I think Nasri will bring that.
