Is nasri better than modric for eg skill,positional sense,work-rate,vision etc..... Are they the same type of midfielders which one would you prefer

Modric seems to play deeper for Spurs at least so does not contribute many goals or assists. This gives the false impression that Modric isn't as good as he seems but he often picks up the ball from the behind the halfway line. Nasri will offer far more goals and similar amount of assists (not his strong point but we have Silva for that and they should compliment each other really well) because he plays further forward. For us Nasri is a more important signing than Modric would be, I'm not even sure where Modric would play for us.

Nasri.

They are different. Modric is more similar to Silva but plays deeper, like what Barry should be doing for us. Nasri is someone who can play as a winger of attacking midfielder. He can play deeper as a sort of DM if necessary.

Nasri is an absolutely perfect fit considering our deficiencies. Modric does a lot but he can't do what we need most from the midfield now- score goals.
