SSN just said we are in final negotiations on this deal.

On another interesting note, I bumped into an old friend in town yesterday who dabbles alot in shares/stocks. Knowing I was a blue we got chatting about our signing's and why it appears Arse players are jumping ship. He told me that Emirates were apparently upto 5bn in debit and not wanting to see them go under, guess who has apparently bailed them out .... our owner (or his family).

Found this on the topic <a class="postlink" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2009/nov/30/emirates-airline-collateral-dubai-debt" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2009 ... dubai-debt</a>

Im not being funny but Emirates only sponsor Arsenal they dont own them and if they did go under which they wont Arsenal would just get another sponsor

Arsenal are owned by American businessman Stan Kroenke. He owns 5 major sports teams throughout the world. It would be like Aon going under for the rags. Their financial situation isn't tied to the advertiser as is our own club. Arsenal are paid some 20 mil per year for naming rights and jersey sponsor (I believe). While it may be hard to find a replacement, if Emirates went under Arsenal would carry on.

You're mate is poorly informed.

he said the Emirates Airline not Arsenal

Reread what he posted. He's inferring that Arsenal players are jumping ship because of some sort of financial issue with Emirates. Emirates do not own the team.

Thank you. I meant Emirates not the Arse. I know Stan Kroenke is the major shareholder. I was referring too their sponsorship deal.

stage 1. we enquire about a player.
stage 2. they say piss of or how much they would want.
stage 3,. we talk to the player and see how he feels and negotiate wages.
stage 4 medical.
..what stage are we at now lol....or have i missed the other 656 stages that are making this a drama
