..what stage are we at now lol....or have i missed the other 656 stages that are making this a drama

Sky are probably just taking a pot shot that today is the day we'll finish this deal. I can't see it happening until deadline day tbh, the way Arsenal are fucking around.

What planet was Wenger on last week, saying he expected Nasri and Fabregas to stay? He seemed to think it was funny to waste everybody's time. He just made himself look clueless, unprofessional and childish. He's really lost the plot since it came out that he was cheating on his wife. He really has lost his dignity in my eyes.

My brother in law decided to take his son on one of the ground tours yesterday and he asked the guide when was Nasri turning up ??? The guide told him he didn't know but he had recieved an email that morning and it told him that the press office and the changing rooms may well be out of use for the tour and if they were he was to give everyone a refund. There are two conclusions you can make from that, either the deal is all but done or they have hit a glitch which has delayed it. Might be worth ringing the ground and asking what time the tours are today and see if any are cancelled.

You could also take it that they are refurbishing the press room at UEFA's request

Why would the changing rooms also be shut ??? And if it was being refurbed wouldn't you think the contracter would give the club a little more than a few hours notice they were turning up ??

stink bomb? murder scene? cockroach infestation? flood? plumbing installation? sandpit to make the owners feel more at home? who knows...................

You've missed absolutely fuck all until the last two pages. 6 weeks of absolute drivel. But now we hear that "it's in it's final stages"(SSN) and that Emirates Airlines have been in financial trouble. Good news and interesting news.

I'd say we're between points 2 and 3.

I thought the talk was the HE turned down United advances, wanting City. now it's that he prefers United?

lolz, don't believe any of this and don't really care. sign him and I'm sure he'll come good.
Totally agree, Didn't Ferguson himself say "He has decided to go elsware" when asked about the possibility of Nasri joining the rags a few monts ago.... in othe words 'He's turned us down and aint coming'.

What part of that statement did the numpty ragtop journos fail to understand?...

I was just going to post that myself. Will it be possible for someone to dig that interview up, I saw it and when asked about signing Nasri he didn't look very happy and definately said no he's going somewhere else.

Of course it could be to do with that bete noir of all transfer dealings the fookin agent and his fee - who´s his agent? Please not you know fookin who!

1 hour and 40 minutes to go if we want him registered for Sunday's match

don't think it will happen though

Doesn't look like its happening in time, but not like we are short of options. Lets get him in, trained up with the lads and give him a 20 minute cameo debut like Sergio..

would be a nice baptism of fire the spuds game??? a week training with the boys then a start at the lane?

I love how the fee is slowly coming down in the media as the bullshit subsides, they were reporting 25m+ earlier in the week and now it's around the 20m mark, the truth is about 16m plus performance bonuses hence the long drawn out negotiation.

The media love to over exaggerate our transfer fees because they don't want to admit when we are signing top class players on the cheap as it doesn't fit their agenda. Aguero for 38m was a bargain considering Torres was 50m and Nasri for 16m plus add ons is a bargain when United paid the same for Van De Gea.
