If SWP goes there, Cahill to us and Lesc to Gonners as part of the Nasri deal? They do need a CD....Not ITK, just speculating:)

Fun fact;

Milner 7 assist last season in PL.

Modric, Nasri and Wilshire 7 assist last season in PL combined between the three of them.
Modric had 3 just like Wilshere. nasri who plays further up than those two had 1 and he's bought for his creativity by City

Mancini told you this?

Man City's pursuit of Nasri heads for extra time

MANCHESTER, England - Manchester City were hopeful on Friday of securing Samir Nasri's services "quickly" while the signs from his current club Arsenal were that any transfer might not be quite so rapid after naming him in the squad for this weekend's match against Liverpool.
City's lengthy and public pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Nasri is not yet complete with 12 days remaining before the transfer window closes and manager Roberto Mancini has been frustrated by the club's dealings in the market.
"I hope we can close the (Nasri) deal very quickly. I don't know the last news about him," the Italian told a news conference.
The latest news from London, though, was that Arsenal were in no hurry to strike a deal.
"Usually it (the transfer market) is played with extra time," Wenger told a news conference.
I hope it doesn't end in penalties

im not itk at all but my feeling is if he plays tomorrow he wont be signing for us.
but what do i know.

Nothing thankfully ;-).

This is playing out exactly like the Milner transfer, he played his last game for Villa and signed for us a few days later. I will not be downhearted if Nasri plays tomorrow

as long as he dont get injured and arsenal beat the red dippers im happy.

I think Wenger is playing us here, and to be honest he holds the cards.

He's got money to spend already from the Fabregas sale. He doesn't want to lose Nasri and his arrogance tells him is he stays, he has a whole year to work on him and convince him to sign a new contract. And he is in no rush.

So he can hold out for a ridiculous price, hoping money bags City will cave in and pay it. And if not, he doesn't really care. Either which way, he wins.

I can see us walking away from this. We will not be taken for mugs any more and with the spectre of FFPR hanging over everyone, we cannot afford to just throw money at it.

nar disagree completely, by letting a transfer get to these late stages will only alienate the player further. if he'd just put his foot down then maybe, but he's not stupid enough to do it this way
