We have a few Arsenal fans on here, and I was wondering would they rather he came to us now for £22m, or went to the Rags on a free at the end of the season? Obviously, going to the Rags on a free means they'd have him for this season, but would they really rather he went to the Rags than us?
 
If you look on arsenal mania 99% of the fans want him gone so they can get the money and sign the replacements they desperately need.

A fair few want him sold even if the money is not spent. They don't want him running down his contract and going for nothing that's for sure.
 
No Fancy Mathematics needed, if Nasri plays against Udinese and they still go out then Arsenal will lose £30m CL money PLUS £22m transfer fee. A whooping £52m hit. Sell him and the lose of CL will only cost £8m (£30m - £22m).

Its quite interesting really. If he plays he clearly doesn't want to come and will definitely run his contract down. Very surprised arsenal have played it like this.

Honestly if he plays he doesn't want to come to city so it's good we don't sign him in this scenario.

If Arsenal loses, he won't be cup-tied.

Can't believe Cook and co. will let this go to Wednesday and put the whole transfer in jeopardy, which we've worked over a month to complete.

No they won't. If they go out then he isn't cup tied.

I'm going to open a vein if someone overlooks this fact again and it wont be one of mine,
