"Buy Buy Wenger" is another funny one. Why the hell he didn't sell Nasri 2 months ago when it was obvious he wanted away I'll never know. He could have had his replacement in place and not in the ridiculous position of having to play a player who wants out. Now every club knows he's desperate and will take him to the cleaners. Is he losing the plot?
The negotiations started 18 months ago, his people dragged it all last summer....the week after the window closed they broke of any talk and said they gonna make a decision next summer. Wenger should get blamed for alot of things, but this one is on the board who should have given his people a deadline last summer and sell him then

I'm on about this transfer window. Nasri made it clear that he wasn't going to sign a new contract. As soon as he did that Wenger should have sold him and brought in a replacement. The fact that he didn't is bizarre imo.
Its not that simple. its the same thing with Cesc, its easy to say he should have sold him earlier this summer. But he cant control who makes a bid and when. Teams usually wait to august to make bids as teams have to make a quick decision. So they knew he was gone all summer, just waited for bids to come in. just like everyone knows Adebayor has no future with City, but the club cant do much if no one makes a bid

For what Nasri has done for the club in the past, Gervinho and Chamberlain were technically the replacements. Neither one of them is better nor truly in position, but they can both operate on the wing. If Wenger just sold Cesc last year he could have funded a move for a player like Cazorla and sat Nasri in his proper position.

Nasri underperformed for large parts of his first two years. Then he came into fruition, something understandable in a system like Arsenal's. I truly don't believe the club expected him to find it in his third year the way he did. Had they known they would have tied him down last summer for substantially lower wages than he's set to receive. This is why players should always have to commit for 5 years. 2 isn't enough anymore.

Nasri and Cesc are/where vital to your club whilst Ade is not to us and thats the huge difference.

Cesc has been a gonner for the last 2 years and he should have been replaced and please don't tell me that Nasri suddenly dropped the bombshell of wanting away a few weeks ago?

Too much blame is being attached to Wenger here for me and he is as frustrated as anyone imo.

You need a plan A,B and C in football at all times.

The board at Arsenal need a fucking huge kick up the arse pardon the pun.

Sorry mate but the world and his dog know that City have been in for Nasri for months.

Nasri will not sign for city. Thankfully I'm away in Spain at the minute so I'm not hooked in this media frenzy and nonsense surrounding the city and Nasri story. Because I'm over here and not watching sky sports news, listening to the radio all day I'm looking at this whole situation in a different way. Let's rewind 2 months shall we and remind you all of how events unfolded. Nasri openly admitted he would love to play for united. If he wanted it that much, he would have gone on the pre season tour with them and been in a red shirt, but he didn't. So back to recent events regarding him signing for city. This transfer has been rumbling on now for the best part of a month. There has been ample chances for him to sign, but he hasn't, just like he didn't sign for united. So what's stopping him from signing? Money - no way, we offered him triple his wages so it isn't that. I think his agent has something up his sleeve. Nasri is a great player but if he doesnt want to play for us, which he clearly doesn't, then it's time we moved on and put an end to this farce of a transfer.

I don't recall him "openly" admitting he wanted to play for the rags and i don't see any proof that he "clearly" doesn't want to play for us.

You don't write for the British media do you by chance?

He did admit he wanted to sign for united. If he wanted to play for us then tell me why he hasn't yet signed? It took under 2 weeks to sign one of the bat players in the world (Aguero) yet Nasri has rumbled on for 2 months and been heavily linked with 2 different clubs. He will not sign for city!!!

Breaking news, MCFC pay agents fees so bluemooners can rest easy. Their extortionate fees, large transfer fee and over the top wages were all agreed in minutes so that the transfer could be rushed through before Gary cook and Marwood could be slaughtered by the world famous and most powerful Bluemoon could begin it's renowned "end the thread" comments.
Thankfully disaster was averted and the extra 10 million they failed to negotiate should cost them their place in next years champs league courtesy of FFP.

No quotes or video interviews of him saying that he prefers the scum!
