Richards, Lescott, Garcia, Toure?!

£20M is extortion for Pepe, who will give away more goals (from free kicks around the box) than he will stop.....AND he will want to play all the time and not be happy playing second or third fiddle!

As long as CLICHY is fit, Lescott will do fine. However, the problem comes in when Lescott and Kolarov both play on the left side of defense.....too slow, both a bit flatfooted.

Would have been easier to say we need to sign a fullback and a CB

It would if that was what I meant! I just think those two TOGETHER have the potential to be a weak link in the strongest defence in the Prem for the last few years!

If It's ankle ligament damage we're probably looking at 2 months out, then
a replacement would be a neccessity.

3 weeks, I speak from experience!

You're on the wrong forum mate.

Proceed from the Etihad to the Mancunian Way. Take the A56 Stretford road out of Manchester, once you have left Manchester you will pass Lou Macari's chippy and old Trafford on the right. There you can join Rag Cafe.

Everyone saying he was kicked. Did any of you watch the match. He got skinned with no contadct whatsoever and then when he turned to try and start running his foot stuck in the mud and whilst the Sunderland player kept going he pulled up after about 5 paces.

I think that this is going to be much more serious than they are letting on and I would say that we will have bids going in for a new centre half before the real diagnosis comes on line.

PM is just keeping a lid on it to avoid a price hike by whoever we are interested in because we are more desperate.

You heard it here first.

Yep. I must have had ankle ligament tears 4-5 times in my life now, the bad ones taking 4-5 weeks to recover from, the lesser ones 2-3. With all the quality care he'll receive, it's hard to see him being out for more than three weeks. Not what we need/he needs at this stage of pre-season though :(

Ankle injuries are frustrating, much like hamstring's. I've had both, but found ankle problems irritating. Running in a straight line can would be ok. Just When I thought it was fine, a lunge, a twist or a sprint would cause it to flare up again.

But then again, I don't have full time physio's, but do have a full time job to contend with.

Good luck Matija, hope all is well.

Hope we have Nasty back fit soon. At least MP will be able to see how good Joleon is in the Premier League - if Nasty is out for a few weeks.
