Everyone links themselves to city rather than the other way around. It is either a dream move or a good contract negotiating tool. Doubt we’re entertaining it at all. Full focus on de Jong

Delphs a good player who’s filled in well when asked for a large part of last season as well, he cost £8m , I certainly wouldn’t spend upwards of £40m on Ake, we can do better.
now that Chilwell has signed a new deal, find another association trained player better?, there are loads of foreign players but that is not what we need, as for Delph he missed loads of games last season through injury it is only injury that would make city buy

Good player, very mobile and very comfortable with the ball.

Probably fits our 3rd/4th profile better than Maguire.

It's L'equipe so whatever, but let's do this. Ake at 40m makes so much more sense to me than Maguire at 70m.

French paper knows who City intend to buy and who Bournemouth intend to sell?

You can just picture the scene after our mob have met with theirs to discuss the deal.

Khaldoon and their equivalent finding it integral to the deal that they get on the blower and tell some French bellend journalist all the details.

Sounds tres legit.

Better value than Maguire but still doesn't improve us. And is it really worth it if it means Otamendi leaves.

Because we want someone to play with Laporte not instead of.
Not if Laporte is injured, or needs to be rotated, he cant play 65 games. Especialy if at some point he's called up for internationals. Anyway , not my problem just think if true it makes some sense.
