Maybe Pep wants to move him onI don't think he was unhappy at all.
He infact gave an interview recently stating he wants to do very well for us for next season.
It seems, Chelsea would be giving him game time assurances + he is an academy graduate from there.
Hope he stays, otherwise we get the fair asking price as not wasy getting a decent quality CB who will akso be happy to be 4th choice

No chance Pep puts any of our kids in the firing line, they will be back up at best, all these players will be replaced by top class replacements.Could be. But can we get a suitable replacement who will be ok with being 4th choice?
