If Ake does want to leave and I have not read any reports that he does then I am sure that Pep and the club will not stand in his way if the right offer comes along. Ake impressed last season and I hope he stays.I'd rather we keep him if he can be convinced to stay. We wont be able to buy better for whatever Chelsea pay in this market IMO, they wont qualify for home grown and Pep will have to start again with another CB teaching him the system. The end of last season proved 3 CBs is not enough for City(amount of games, style of play) and that the academy lads aren't quite ready to be relied upon in the PL yet.
The only way it makes sense, is if he really wants out and it doesn't sound like he does.
