I assume city want a profit on the initial investment though? £50m I imagine would see him gone? A replacement would surely be needed though with another hectic schedule and the World Cup disrupting things?

Hasn't Callum Doyle been playing left back for the England U23's as well? Surely must catch Peps eye if he's comfortable at left back and left sided CB.Think Doyle has more experience in “real games” than Mbete I would like Pep to have a look at him in preseason..
