From Ake’s point of view with Rudiger & Christensen going, Silva 38 soon and Chelsea playing 3 at the back its a good move for him to play more in a World Cup year.They play with 3 centre halves, so he should get more game time whilst Tuchel is still there.

All left-footed, versatile, and agressive center backs. Pau Torres is the next Isco or Joao Felix, that guy is unable to play as a LB.

It would be a great window for incoming but not outgoing. Time will bê needed to settle and adjust and we do not know if it means the team will perform and achieve as we have.He's been decent for us and I'm sure we'll make a small profit on him. I'd rather he stayed, but in all fairness he probably wants to play so I'll shake his hand and wish him all the best. At the end of the day, he's nowhere near the class of Stones and Dias and probably is behind Laporte, although I think Ake had a better season than him overall.
I must admit, if I was a Chelsea fan I think I'd be underwhelmed with him and Sterling coming in. They are good players, but they are likely to spend £100m on 2 players who are good but if both played against us I'd be reasonably happy.
At the end of the day if we lose Ake, Sterling and Jesus and bring in Haaland, Phillips and Cucurella for - give or take - the same money, it's been an insanely good window.
