Will take time to settle I think. He is quick and technically very good, would be perfect in a 4-3-3 rather than a 4-4-2. I think he needs a stable period in the side to get a relationship with the full back. It is all about getting the full back isolated and Navas space to run at people.

If Richards stays fit i think they could be a very effective partnership,a fullbacks nightmare.

It's like a Hollywood partnership. Navas the fast attacker who had confidence issues and homesickness but is now part of the blue revolution ready to prove himself, partnerd with Richards the monster of a man right wing back prodigy.. Combined to form a new era of right flank devastation.

We are loving it.

Pretty much spot on, didn't they play together preseason against AC Milan when they destroyed them in the 1st half?
Once Micah is back to 100% I can see them forging a similarly effective partnership as Negredo and Aguero

Navas has to polish his end product. He does pretty well until the last touch which often is a misplaced cross or a failed attempt to pass the defender.

In my opinion, Navas shouldn't be playing so close to the line, better to leave that space for overlap from Zab or Micah. If he can lure the defender more towards the penalty area, a huge space opens up. Hi is very similar to Aaron Lennon in that sense that he is quite inefficient. He needs time to prove himself though.

Wish he would get use of that speed more often. So little space, with all teams backing up.
