Great player last season for us was The Beast!! That goal against Spurs was world class. Heard a few rumours that his wife hated living here? I suppose living in a Cheshire mansion with an almost endless supply of money is somebody's vision of hell, well it's not mine but I'm a materialistic money grabber!! Hoping he didn't leave because of that because Valencia is a major step down but if your family isn't happy then you become unhappy,and it serves no purpose having a unhappy player on your books and it's great business financially but I just think he has unfinished business at City?? To be honest can you blame her? Its not stopped raining all summer! Might not matter if you've come over from Iceland or Siberia but when you've just left Spain the shit weather might not be so easy to ignore ;-)

It's always going to be a problem for us - putting your Manchester and City allegiance to one side for a moment, if someone offered you £5m to live and play in sunny Spain or Italy or £6m to live and play in wet and cold Manchester which would you choose? When you're earning that sort of money a few hundred thousand a year isn't going to come into it - you can still afford a huge house, a few flash cars etc.
