If still say that in the grand scheme of things you'd describe them as mid range, I've just seen the artists drawing of them it's so very Ian Simpson isn't it?, the epitome of bland.

They are not bland - they are 8 sided for a start inverted rectangles. Complex cladding. They are game changers for Manchester. 64 storeys in a regional city is tall.

Thoughts? It's fucking ugly, is it supposed to be a tribute to various ex teammates or something?
Haven't read the whole thread. I take it you've already suggested putting the windows in and setting fire to it?
 
It is so easy to criticise. We should be proud that Manchester is getting such development. Shows a progressive city.

I genuinely love the Hilton.
It wasn't a criticism worsleyweb, just an observation. I like you think it's good that Manchester is attracting the most investment outside London.
