At 56 years old I'm long past buying team strips so I haven't followed the kit threads. However. I thought the kit looked superb last night.

Mentioned it in the post-match thread but the monochrome yellow crest looks awful - all detail is completely lost. It would have looked so much better as standard full colour. Really poor. Plus, again mentioned before, the red piping down the sides of the shirt is a different red/burgundy to the shoulder panelling and it clashes awfully.

I agree, the badge should have been full colour... the thing that I really hate is the socks colour... it looks like we've got the wrong socks, they just don't go with the rest of the kit!

Have a yellow away kit then! I remember that was the reasoning behind the socks on the silver away kit we had years ago... that was an awful kit too!

I think the socks, especially when mixed with yellow boots like Stones wore, are what make the away kit. They look fantastic.

Don't like the badge. Not a bad kit though, I love City in maroon (even if it's just the sleeves
