New Beatles song released

It’s not AI it is John and George. A.I is already being used in music but you can tell the difference

This is AI the music

Not bad but nothing like the original

it's a digital voice done with AI and not really John Lennon voice is it

The truth is this so-called new Beatles song was not written for the Beatles ? written by John Lennon in 1978 when he was a solo artist and Never was going to be a Beatles Song,
They separated Johns voice from the original tape recording because the piano was too loud using a technique they used during the get back sessions. So it’s still John and not AI but in 95 George didn’t like it so Paul said he would finish it.
It’s the four of them but agreed it’s digital not really a Beatles record. watch the film Paul made I posted earlier he explains it all.

No it is his real voice.
The original cassette had him singing with a piano but they were recorded together on a portable cassette recorder and the piano was louder than his voice. That was the problem. No way of separating them.
Peter Jackson devised technology to separate the voice from the piano, what your hearing is John's voice without the overly loud piano.
It's not an AI voice at all.

It had to be enhanced By AI software, So some of it is John's voice but digitally remastered because the vocal was far too low over the piano, The making of the song video almost says it when they were splitting the 2, If they had just ripped the vocals then it would be so low in parts so it had to be enhanced AI vocals,

As I said, John Lennon did not write the song for the Beatles, So for me, it's not a Beatles song but just a John Lennon one

I think The Beatles are a band a lot of us FOC's love. We grew up with them and each album they made over that 7 years period was a progression on the last, they wrote 2 albums a year on top of world tours, tv shows and 2 full on movies. To us they were a revelation and caused a revolution in music where artists began to write their own songs.
They had the cheek to turn down "professionally written songs" suggested by George Martin and demanded they release their own, pretty risky for a scruffy working class band from Liverpool who had been given a few months recording contract after being knocked back by every other record company.
But music in the UK was very drab pre-Beatles I can tell you, we're talking Matt Munro, Kenny Balls Jazzmen and Cliff Richards etc.

Anyway, the last song, it's very poignant and a wee bit sad. A nice melody. Not one of their best but probably a good album track on a John solo album. Maybe John regarded it as a throwaway ? we'll never know.........anyway, Paul liked it.....I like it a lot, but then again I liked everything they did, even Revolution No 9 !
I can fully understand people who wern't around in the 60's condemning The Beatles as shite, overrated rubbish etc as I think we all love the music of our youth, like whatever is big when were teenagers. That's just the way it is.
I think Now & Then is for us FOC's that loved The Beatles.
And still do.

Speak for yourself me and mates weren't of that era and loved them. As does my lad and nieces. They were just the best at the end of the day. Doesn't mean everyone will like them but words like shocking and shite just give the plebs on here away tbh.

There is fuck all wrong with Matt Munro.

Sadly this is future of music and AI, it will bring back everybody who's long gone and left demos, Next thing all of sudden a lost demo will be suddenly be found and Bingo, From Elvis to Eva Cassidy it's going to happen over night
Is it really such a bad thing, I pay 12e or something a month and get to listen to it along with a shit load of other stuff. Most new music is shite anyway. We get endless remixes and remasters with rough demos as bonus tracks anyway. At least this is listenable and good to hear something new. This song at least was written by John Lennon and probably would have got past demo form only for he got murdered. I'd have liked to have seen them do Grow old with me though

Sometimes going out right at the top is the best option, Just milking the fans with crap albums and singles that are just run-of-the-mill stuff really does water down your legacy, The Beatles had given up as a live band long before the official split and just worked in the studio,

John Lennon was a workaholic always writing and messing about on stuff until the love bug hit him and that is what happened, Spending more time with Yoko Ono and bringing her into the studio, Then not coming in at all and it started to get to people and the producers,

My Band THE JAM and Paul Weller were pretty much in the same mode and called it after 5 years because it was getting stale and too much, Paul weller idols the Beatles and John Lennon, I can see why Lennon's parting company with the Beatles was all about, Song Writers like to try and find the next big Hit and work on something nobody has done before, It's always chasing the impossible that drives them,

AI is a wonderful thing and defo makes life so much easier for artists, Past or Present it will find its place, just like Autotune did in making life so much easier to produce vocals on music.

For me anyway, it's not a long-lost Beatles song or really should be sold as the last Beatles song, it's a John Lennon song

Yes, The Beatles legacy was totally destroyed when they released more stuff after they split up.

Loads of great new music around if you look for it. People didn't suddenly lose the ability to write and play songs in 1980. This wasn't recorded and released when it was written from what I hear probably for good reason, they had better songs.

It's inoffensive and pleasant enough but like most of the Beatles' music, just doesn't hit the spot for me.
