Hahaha. I look after myself. Thank you.

Not getting involved anymore in this . I am clearly wrong, and there are some idiots who clearly want the old days to return.

You do nèed to get someone to have a look at your keypad though .-:)

Do not agree with the drugs thing. The amount of festivals I have been too through the years and must have only seen a handful of fights while everyone’s Jaw is in a didferent postcode to they are.

Some people will always want to be the big man

Some may say drugs helped calm down the hooliganism problem in the 80's as people were stoned rather than pissed up. Nowadays though it's not a joint people are smoking it's coke and they then think they are some sort of superman and can take on the world. One day they might pick on the wrong blue

Never taken coke so not sure how it affects behaviour. I’m guessing 8 pints of Stella would be more likely to make someone aggressive though.

Regarding the late 80’s and the decline in hooliganism, cannabis wasn’t the main driver. It was the drugs associated with the rave scene, primarily ecstasy. All of a sudden you had people turning up at raves up and down the country, popping ecstacy, and instead of wanting to fight they were more inclined to hug people. I only got into that scene in late 1991 and there was never an edge between other revellers that you might experience in nightclubs that primarily sold alcohol, and any negative atmosphere would mainly be down to gangs muscling in and ruining it for everyone else.

The problem is if you snort coke all day you can drink 16 pints of Stella....

Imagine that. That’s the issue . 10 men everywhere....

We have to remember said incident had probably nothing to do with coke, young ones and beer throwing, we will wait and see. It certainly had nothing to do with blue on blue.
Therefore perspective is needed:
There's been many a scrap involving blue on blue over the years. Sometimes in the kippax or posh seats. Sometimes out of the ground. This has been going on since the 70's and probably 60's....year after year.
If people think its new and getting worse they are wrong imo.
My late uncle wilf chinned a pissed up knobhead at Newcastle when we won league..the story is legendary with my family.
Theres always been pissed up knobheads and there have always been people like my late uncle who will stand there ground.
Im not saying its right, but to say its getting worse is wrong. For those that doubt me to ill name a few; -halifax fa cup, boro last game of season under swen, oldham promotion, barnsley div 2, rags many a game home and away, huddersfield div 1, blackburn final promotion game, wemberly 99, chelsea numerous times;
Nothing new at all.
Probably not a popular post this, but thought some perspective was needed.

And what never gets mention in the reduction of football hooliganism is the inflatable craze that we started of course.
