our mini bus got out really easily and we didnt get out of seat till about 10 mins after whistle
Give us a clue. Which road and which industrial estate? Have a look at Google Maps before answering, unless you're suggesting building a bridge over the railway or going through private land to Broxton street.i know expensive but why cant the road from car parks be opened up at other end onto industrial estate out onto ashton rd
It's available to the 90th minute? I wasn't aware of that, I've been legging it as soon as there's a break in play after 86 minutes. I'll email the club and complain tomorrow. It would be good when they introduce the "Personalised City Drone" service to pick you up at the end of the game (or for Platinum card holders any time from the 65th to the 90th minute) and fly you off home, avoiding all those horrible traffic jams.
They have - this is all to please the selfish twats who moan at having to sit in their nice warm cars listening to Radio Manchester while those on foot block the roads for ten minutes. There is no way this system can work without creating conflicting streams of pedestrians/cars. It really is an accident waiting to happen - and doesn't seem to have improved exit times for cars. Because the pedestrian route is further to walk (for those that obey), pedestrians are now taking up to five minutes longer to clear Alan Turing Way.After the Sunderland game I spoke with one of the stewards 'organising' the traffic and he said they'd trialled this new system during the summer at the concerts and it worked well.
The problem is the pedestrians just completely ignored all of the signs that were put up directing them along a specific route for their own safety.
Instead they parted the barriers and just pleased themselves, once one does it all the rest follow.
The 'I'm alright Jack and fuck the rest of you' attitude is massively contributing to the delays, it's needs a rethink now as clearly they hadn't factored in selfish twats!

There wasn't much wrong with the old way so long as you go to City square after the game but now even an hour after the final whistle it's mayhem. Whatever anyone thinks car users have as much right as pedestrians to get out as quickly as possible. I live an hour away from the ground and pick up my mate on the way and that takes another half an hour but to listen to some on here you'd think we have no rights at all. I suppose its fine for us to sit in our nice warm cars as you put it and wait whilst all the pedestrians go first. Fair enough if you think that's fair, I don't.They have - this is all to please the selfish twats who moan at having to sit in their nice warm cars listening to Radio Manchester while those on foot block the roads for ten minutes. Especially when official car park users have paid £150 for the privilege. If anything they have more. There wasn't much wrong with the old way so long as you go to City square after the game but now even an hour after the final whistle it's mayhem. You are right about one thing though it is an accident waiting to happen. No doubt when a pedestrian decides it's a good idea to run between the traffic and gets run over it won't be their fault either?
