New City Away Kit to be revealed tonight?

Plenty of great memories in this strip..

I can see peoples point when they say it's too similar to AC Milans but I don't mind too much personally. The only shame I find from this is that I really liked our away kit this season and it will be sad to see it go.
 
Speaking of the "soundwave" design. If you look at the "view larger image" of the new away kit on the official shop, you will notice there is a closeup picture of what appears to be waveform from an audio recording. When I first saw it I thought it was random stitching, but thought it looked like an audio waveform just on happenstance.
 
I like the new kit. the Powder Blue is still sick though, got one hanging on my wall.

Have the mentioned what that is a waveform for? I bet it is for Blue Moon... If not... what could it be? And more importantly, what is the point?

Kit manufacturers are always trying to do some dumb motto or stitching to make the jersey sell. I have no problem with the motto being there, just trying to use that as a selling point is ridiculous. If the kit is shit, people won't buy it and if it looks good, people will buy it. But people need to feel like they can wear it casually. On an aside, I hope Barca doesn't sell any of their kits this season. They are absolutely appalling, even a line from the club anthem embroidered into the jersey couldn't save that train wreck. Nike turned that kit into a case study on how to not do stripes. City is very very lucky we have Umbro.
