I find that kit to be ugly tbh. It just doesn't look modern :(

That's the point. Have you been a City fan all your life, like your family also? I think most that have been would appreciate the kit more than others..

And know I'm not saying other Blues that have been through the struggle as long are guaranteed to like it, but it does have some sentimental value.

My opinion though is that for a retro kit thats been modernized, I think Umbro did the best they could to capture that style they were looking for.

The way they've done the stripes on the arms is shit. Looks completely wrong, and for that reason I'm out!

Not a fan of the expanded black bit around the neck either; a needless bit of over-designing that detracts from the simpleness of the original.

Edit: The more I look at it, the shitter it gets. Why is it so hard to get black and red stripes right? As this was their first attempt at it they could have just gone with pure plain and simple, but no they had to fuck it up by over designing it adding in crappy little extras that just make it look pretty cheap and shit.

It's more the expense than the logistics. ;)

And yes, I'm waiting eagerly to see the new home shirt.
