Best news of the summer. I've been scared Barcelona would swoop for a couple of years now. Pay the man what he wants to keep them away.

Doesn't prevent him being sold but helps keep the price up. Hopefully it shows his commitment to the club. He does seem to be settled here, for now; he's going to go home when he stops playing but we need him here until age begins to seriously impact on him.

If Kompany and Aguero follow suit, I am going to delivery a nice bottle of champagne to MCRJON.

Silva is definitely in that elite top list at our club revolving around him, Komany and Zab. Mind you Aguero and Toure arn't far off, but those 3 are just something else.

Reckon he can achieve the legendary status like Colin Bell if he sees out his contract.
