I don't think for one minute the FA came up with this idea. But they sanctioned it. So it is as bad.

It’s just an interpretative design. The amount of publicity it’s caused will get said marketing fella a handsome raise.

14 years ago there wasn't a cross at all. It's not something that's been a permanent fixture on the shirt. And as mentioned before, there have been multiple kits with crosses on that weren't just red on white.

There‘s never been a tradition of having the cross on the shirt anyway. The first time it appeared on an England shirt was 1998.

Not sure what needs stopping. It’s a tiny little feature on a shirt you don’t need to buy.

It’s not the first time a non-red cross has appeared on an England shirt either.

How’s it a wrong? Do you remember the U.K. Olympic kit with a different Union Jack or have a look at Scottish kits that have inverted the colours.
