New Food and Drink Vendors for the Ground and City Square | Edible coffee cups introduced

On the off chance, has anyone got Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak's email address so I can email him these pictures? I appreciate it's a very, very big ask. :-)

I'm sure he'd be annoyed and pissed off about the way City fans are being treated on the concourses.

Bars refusing to open at half time, said they had to wait until 3.50pm initially so only one open with an enormous queue.

I think the new staff/supervisor thought the halves were 60 mins long.

There’s too many kids and not enough adults behind these bars .

For some of the kids would have been their 1st taste of work yesterday and any training they received will have quickly gone out the window once things start going wrong and customers are becoming irate as the queues are increasing .

I feel sorry for them and I’d imagine a big turnaround of staff as many will not return if all they are faced with is 100s of angry fans every week.

There should be a 2 to 1 adults (over 25) to kids ratio.
6 working the bar 4 should be over 25 imo.
That's what happen when they pay near minimum wage. The only people who want that job are kids needing their first pay packet.

Yes in the Mancunian. It was like a faulty towers sketch. Paid out nearly 50k a week before and then don’t know the difference between duck and lamb. Food was poor (soup was literally cold) when it eventually arrived. No puddings offered and 1 plate of cheese shared between six and horrendous drinks service. I kept having to go the bar and just say please just give me 3 bottles from that Fridays. I had to rush down my food at half time as was so late. They actually put down the correct plate at one time and I was about to start eating and they said oh no that’s for another table and took it back off me. It was honestly so bad it was almost comedy.

I give the club a lot of leeway and most who know me on here know I am not a loaner about what they do but I was fuming last night.
Wow. That’s really really shit. You’d have thought we would at least get the corporate bit right. Mate of mine was in Mancunian yesterday too, not spoke to him yet, I’ll see if he had a similar experience.

the problem is mate it is the same untrained kids who are like fish out of water many of whom have never worked there before. The poor kid serving us was so polite but naive in the extreme.

It really was a shit show yesterday. I can’t get over how bad the service was. I have emailed City and I never do that.
Were you in the tunnel or with us lot?

If they've fucked up the posh service heads might actually roll.

I see my question has been covered above.

moved to Mancunian mate with a bigger table. Might as well have had a burger. In fact I did get a kebab on the way home. I can’t even begin to describe how bad it was.

Completely agree with this. I’m glad my kids weren’t behind the counter! My lad had to explain to the guy on the till that Amstel was ‘lager’. Suppose that could be argued!

Got to say in the queue I was in and the one next to us, fans were extremely patient and apart from a bit of ‘Mancunian sarcasm’, no one was having a go at the staff. We could all see they were out of their depth, without any managerial support. Non.
