New Food and Drink Vendors for the Ground and City Square | Edible coffee cups introduced

‘Penny pinching’ is exactly what the problem is. Odd when they are missing out on thousands of pounds by not providing decent service.

Guessing. Staff and catering contracts down to the bare bone. Like others have posted. I’m sure some of those new catering staff that were thrown in at the deep end and drowned on Saturday won’t be back next Saturday. You can’t blame them.

I’m probably posting sh*te once again, but it seems Soriano and the top directors at City are completely oblivious to what’s going on the concourses.

Maybe Soriano should do an epsidode of Undercover Boss, and spend a day working on one of the L1 concourse catering stations, or on one of the frontline beer carts.
I can see him in a wig and false nose trying to pour crappy lager into a paper cup with no froth and telling customer that they've run out of chicken balti pies. Would be a cracking episode.

Family stand was a shambles aswell, on the beer stall at 138 only 2 tills out of the 4 were working but only one of them tills could give you the half price offer. We got told we can use the other till but will have to pay full price. Lots of staff just stood doing nothing as there till was down. Don't these get checked in the run up to allowing thousands of people back in the stadium?

At half time my lad wanted some chips so joined the long que, after 5 minutes of not moving anywhere I went up to see what the hold up was to be told by the lad behind the till that there is a 20 minute wait for chips...20 minutes in a 15minute half time.......well done city you have really nailed that one.

Hi mate. am I allowed to say it would not have happened under Garry Cooke.(again!) We should have him back as fan representative. He got a lot correct.

I said this exact thing to my pal yesterday. Gary Cook would never have stood for this kind of shit regard for fans.

He actually gave a toss, and still does.

i purposely gave the poor kid serving us 20 quid tip as I felt for him. Mask on his face all day. Me getting a bit frustrated with him at times and he was useless but just a kid trying to earn a few quid and possibly his first day and placed in a shit storm not of his own doing. But he was polite throughout and buzzing when he got his tip. There are bigger problems in life I guess than me worrying about duck or lamb and eating at half time. It’s a mad old world and we still have to be kind.

Or making a large pan of fresh paella, served with a cold and crisp glass of Estrella. As the queues of City fans snake around the concourse onto the terraces, waiting to be served.

Likewise. Trying to help the 2 young staff on the beer cart trying to pour a cup of beer, and joking with them. They were obviously trying their best, but had been thrown in at the deep end with no supervisory or managerial support close by.

Well done you. That’s a really commendable attitude.
