This is the most genuine looking shirt I've seen. The Etihad logo is correctly aligned with the E and D of Etihad slight outside of Nike and Badge. If you look on fakes of this year and last year the sponsor is within the two!! It's not as shabby looking wither.

The close up is good also:

No sign of the cityzens label on the inside of the shirt like on the pic a few pages back

Nike produce to sets of each shirt. The player issue one with air holes and higher quality material (as pictured), and the 'replica' for the fans. The fans version will be the one with the Cityzens label, if any.

I really don't mind this one! (The fact that the shield background colour wasn't actually matches the shirts colour on the other shirts was the main thing that was putting me off them.)

You'd think Nike would be eager to crowdsource the design process - it being free. Then just have a professional tailor take the ideas and make them into actual drawings. Would be an excellent PR opportunity too.

They don't give a shit what some people from Manchester thinks. (I'm not a Nike hater)

There are only so many ways to design a football shirt, so they don't use a specific design for one football club seeing as they are signed up to so many clubs and national teams.

All they care about is global sales / sales in countries with a history of strong sales for football shirts.
