new kit '14-'15

Bought the home shirt from this seller on Aliexpress

Delivery took about 3 weeks but the quality is good. Material is thinner than the original and obviously from the photos it has the air holes down the side. I am usually a medium but ordered a large as that's what the seller recommended and its pretty much spot on

It's more the lack of white in the kit... which is a shame cos the sky blue really is a lovely shade.

no it ain't. Umbro 09/10 and 10/11 were nice shades.

That's a matter of opinion mate.

I liked, and have got, the classic 09 shirt and it is great, but I do prefer the darker/deeper shade of this shirt. Reminds me more of the classic Colin Bell era early 70s shirts.

Does it look authentic ? I usually get mine from aliexpress but can't find one that looks spot on

This might have been mentioned before. If so mods feel free to delete.

From the season after we won the league with Sergio's goal, we have had navy blue/black trim on our shirts. Even last season we had a small navy trim on the neck. I'm thinking that the kit is slowly but surely being moved to a dark trim rather than white as it matches the Etihad logo better.

Am I being pedantic or as there anything in this?

Kladze, if you're like me (only buy the kit if it's nice) then if the quality is superior to the replica then it might be worth it.

I've not bought a shirt since this one:

because they've all been poor looking shirts since. So paying £90 every four years isn't going to be an expensive outlay.

This year's shirt is very nice looking, best since 2010-11, but if it's a poor quality garment I won't buy it. Since you've gone for the players' version do come on here and give a review from a garment pov. I'd be interested to hear what it's like.

It was said on this weekends other prem games thread when United were on yesterday that it will be this top which is just United's third kit in different colours.

And since when has purple navy and illuminous green been a City kit colour combination?

It won't be these colours, as our away kit is virtually the same colour!
I seem to remember the Roma away kit has a horizontal stripe across the chest, it would be logical to hope this is used for our 3rd kit, as for me, it's the most stylish looking effort from Nike
