Yes, it does. I wasn't claiming it was a new kit; not even sure it's a genuine training top. Hope it isn't actually. Not as bad as those yellow monstrosities we had this season, but not far off either!

By the time they emblazon it with the regulation advertising, the colour will be largely insignificant. :-)

I agree, though, it's not nearly as horrendous as some of the other offerings; tend to think the more garish it is, the likelier it is to be authentic.

how many new kits this season ? home shirt , away shirt , 3rd shirt , cup shirt and european shirt , i remember when we used to take the piss out of rags for being mugs buying new shirts every season , whilst we always kept our home shirt for at least 2 seasons , how times have changed

So it seems like if a club's badge is eccentrically shaped (us, QPR) then Nike has to use a crappy "shield" type thing that is larger than the badge. But Monaco did not seem to have that. Maybe due to a more compact/regular shape of the badge itself?

If that's how it works then we may have a stupid shield for however long is left on the deal.

As a collector of City and football shirts in general for many years I will get ours every year. But fuck if I'll buy any other Nike product if they keep sticking us with the shields

until then, unless they can figure out a more cost effective way to reproduce the crest, gonna have to get used to it looks like. is it really that hard/expensive??

Look at Monaco's badge - that's not in a shield, and they've embroidered the fancy crown at the top it seems... looks like we're being fobbed off!
