I agree that it isn't a bad kit. It's just that it's not a Manchester City home kit. There isn't even any white on it. We could always sell it to Coventry.

I like a lot of your posts but I'm surprised you like that kit. To me it just looks like a Coventry kit.

Since Gorton St Marks was formed, white has been included in our kit. White shorts for 120 years, blue shorts for 10 (at the request of TV companies for 8 of them.) Even during those seasons the kit had white trim.

That history and tradition is being trampled on from next season where we will not have white included in our kit for the first time in 120 years.

Blue and white they go together..... Blue and white army, we can't really sing those next season.

If you think the kit is very smart, I respect your opinion. But it isn't in Manchester City's colours.

I not sure how much weight the club attach to opinions on forums anymore but for what it's worth IMO blue shorts are crap and Nike make horrendous kits.

I am a traditionalist - I want white shorts as much as anyone. But of all the reasons to criticise this latest Nike crap effort, "Coventry kit" wouldn't be in my top 5 really.

The no white thing is shocking even if we got blue shorts then we should have white trim, but I think there is going to be white socks which the club will say to us all "there's your white" coz can't see no way , no how could they contemplate wearing blue socks too!!! Could they ???

Just looking over your last couple of post Grim,

I know in the grand scheme of things the majority of what the club has done is quite amazing, but you got to admit these two kits are gash,, so in response to one of your previous posts !! the club have look to have made a questionable marketing error , would you not say ??

There will be a small percent if ppl who do like these kits but the majority don't, and i personally like to have the shirt although I probably look like a whale in one I enjoy showing my colours, I also get them for my lad, so feel that it's not just the team / club / marketing manager/ some prick at Nike , that should have there say but those who make up the majority who will be wearing them should have there opinions listened too and hopefully they will, probably nit this year but hopefully next...

I'm waiting on a thing of pure beauty for our 3rd... They owe us that
