the black is a very nice touch, not a huge fan of those collars though, its like wearing a tshirt as a coat and having the zip slightly undone and something doesnt quite fit with the socks. Overall though another decent effort by umbro, yet to be let down by them, they always seem to balance uniqueness with quality.

No. That fleece jacket is the inside of the matchday coat you can buy which is about £100. You can have it either as a fleece or an outer coat or both. It's a good bit of kit actually.
Just looked though and I can't find it in the online shop!

If they had to use a monochrome badge, they should have used the one from that fleece. Looks much better than the predominantly black one.

Surely they are negatives of each other.(?) The silver one would look silly on a light blue background... Maybe we get that one on the away shirt(s)?

Hmmm... Maybe not. The eagle is black but the shield looks like it's still silver with black ship, and rivers.
Ah well it's too difficult to tell properly from that photo so let's wait and see the better quality release pics eh?
Also looks like a raglan sleeve which is the same material as the side panels...?

The white that has been left on the badge completely ruins it. I would like it a lot, otherwise.
