what ive seen on the picture the shirt is the double of the 1978 home shirt minus the umbro badges on the arm, and wiv a small maroon shield behind the badge similar to the 1950s home shirt, shorts white wiv same badge as shirt, and with a maroon stripe and umbro badge, and socks are navy with maroon tops and white pinstripe.

not sure whether the sleeves need a trim on, wasn't one in the description. Also that 'marroon' is too dark.

Nope, sorry - I hate the shield behind the crest - even back then I thought it was shite... it's just so unnecessary.

Must say that having read the description I wasn't too hopeful, but now having seen that mock-up I have to say... It looks fucking awful!
Please, please. please be wrong.... No shields around the crest for christ's sake - it looked shit in the 80/90s!
Unless Umbro pull something miraculous out of the bag, this could be the first home shirt in over 20 years that I won't be buying!

Good shout mate! Shields around the crest have never looked good on any kit ever! So bringing it back, after Umbro absolutely nailed the brilliant embroidery on the crest on last seasons kits, will be a mistake!
