British band The Big Moon’s album, 2 Lines, came out in 2022 but they have done an edit of the opening title track from the album and have released it as a single this year.

Check out the guitarists band ‘Our Girl’.

They’ve released one album with another in the works. Really great, here’s a version of the song of the same name with Bill Ryder-Jones on guitar.

Dråpe ‘In Too Deep’ … this track is heavily influenced by the band above, really could be a Holy Wave track!

I put an Our Girl track in one of my recent annual playlists (from 2018)

 
The Holydrug Couple brought out their new album, Pan, in December - granted they are from the Southern Hemisphere (Santiago, Chile) - but it’s definitely a Summer album, so it’s been on play the last few weeks and suits the sunshine very well.



It’s the best that singer, Ives Sepúlveda, has ever sounded.
 
Night Beats have a new album (their seventh) out in July called Rajan.

Do you feel like getting a list together of new albums people have put up here, on the first page to refer to (sorry, you are the OP). I'll happily help pull it together, I can take a set of pages and write out ones that appear on those, if a couple of us take a set each should get through it quickly.

Good idea mate…

I’ll try and get something together n’all, shall we take 6 pages each or something (you first six, me next 6). PM me the list you get and I’ll put the full list in my OP.

There’ll be loads I haven’t got round to listening to yet n’all so at any point anyone wants me to add any albums to the list or posts on subsequent pages to this, I’ll add those to the list n’all.

I'll do the first six. Then every so often we can do the same and keep updating the list through the year.
